Grand Turk is located on the eastern side of the Turks and Caicos Islands(TCI). At seven square miles, this island is the largest among the Turk Islands and with a population of  3,800 it has the second largest population in TCI. The capital, Cockburn Town and JAGS McCartney airport are located here. Grand Turk is the administrative, cultural, and financial nerve center of this group.

For the traveler, this destination is known for its snorkeling and world class diving. With visibility down to 180 feet, abundant marine life and a coral reef that surrounds TCI, makes this is a world class diving spot. For the die hard diver, there are excellent dive resorts that are walking distance from many of the popular dive sites here.

In addition to the excellent diving, another popular activity is a visit  to the Turk and Caicos Museum. This is housed in one of the oldest buildings on Grand Turk and it is the only national museum that chronicles the life of  TCI. With great accommodations, beautiful beaches and restaurants, Grand Turk has the makings of a great vacation.
